M&S White Mulled Wine featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (107 calories per 100ml).

The ultimate Yuletide tipple, we couldn’t resist picking up a bottle of the M&S’ new White Mulled Wine. While it’s definitely not as traditional as its richer, deeper, red wine counterpart, you’re bound to enjoy the zesty-sweet pear flavours in every sip.

It’s best guzzled with a slice of lemon, to really bring out the citrusy freshness.

If mulled wine flavours tell us anything, it’s that it’s cold outside! That’s why the aromas of cinnamon, cloves and star anise play a starring role in our brand-new Mulled Wine Beef Stew.

You’ll know it’s ready when the meat is velvety, and the gravy is thick, glossy and rich. We’d recommend serving with a simple side of potatoes, or with heaps of roasted vegetables.

In no rush? Make it in your slow cooker by tapping here.

Pinch of Nom's Mulled Wine Beef Stew is served in a large, shallow blue bowl, alongside a mountain of creamy mashed potatoes.

M&S White Mulled Wine is available from Ocado and in-store from M&S, priced at £5.50 per bottle (reduced from £6.50).

Nothing says ‘Merry Christmas’ quite like pigs in blankets. These Richmond Extra Tasty Pigs in Blankets bring the signature ‘Richmond’ pork sausage flavour to everyone’s favourite part of Christmastime buffets.

We’d say these cocktail-sized piggies bundled into streaky beechwood smoked bacon blankets are surprisingly light, at 93 calories for two.

It comes with a serving of coriander-infused long grain rice, so you don’t need to worry about prepping a side dish.

We love the versatility you can get from a single batch of chilli. These Chilli Bowls are one of our favourite ways to appreciate fiery chilli con carne flavours.

They hold all the classic chilli dinner accompaniments, from a rice base to a cheesy topping. You can even add a spoonful of guacamole or sour cream, if you fancy!

Three plates are set on a tiled countertop. Each plate is filled with a crisp, golden tortilla wrap that has been baked into a bowl shape. Inside the tortilla bowls are fluffy white rice and rich brown chilli con carne, sprinkled with cheese.

You can also pick up chocolate-coated oranges as a Specialbuy too – although you might need to hurry, both flavours are flying off the shelves!

Mango has a special place in our heart, and so does this Mango and Raspberry Ice Cream recipe. It’s just like restaurant-style gelato, yet budget-friendly and low in calories.

It’s also ready in 10 minutes with just four ingredients, so it’d be rude not to…

The advantage of making your own Profiteroles at home is that you can fill them with whatever you like. While we’ve gone for low-calorie squirty cream to keep things nice and light, there’s nothing to stop you preparing yours with low-fat custard to your favourite jam.

Just be sure to make adjustments to the calories, if you’re keeping track.

Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Profiteroles are served scattered across a countertop; one has a bite taken out of it, revealing the cream centre. A pot of chocolate sauce waits to one side for drizzling on top.

Pinch of Nom's colourful Honey and Lime Pork Nachos are served in a large dish at the centre of a table with a homemade mix of garlic-infused yoghurt in a small bowl to the side, waiting to be dipped.

Lemons – 17 calories per 100g

Lemons from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (17 calories per 100g).

Feeling the winter chill? Unwaxed lemons are just the ticket for a vitamin C boost, and they’re so versatile too; perfect for sweet and savoury recipes alike.

Don’t be surprised if you find yourself reaching for a second slice of our Lemon Drizzle Cake recipe. It’s hard to believe this light and fluffy, zesty sponge is just only 73 calories per serving.

Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Lemon Drizzle Cake is sliced evenly and served on a bright pink board.

Cauliflower – 75 calories per 100g

Mild-flavoured and low in calories, it’s so easy to throw cauliflower into the mix when you’re cooking. We recently revamped some of our oldest, most-popular recipes ever, including our gloriously golden brown Cauliflower Cheese. We challenge you to resist that cheesy-looking topping…

Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Cauliflower Cheese is served fresh from the oven, in a large, rectangular blue oven dish on a stripy orange tablecloth. The cheesy topping is golden brown, and a serving spoon with an orange handle is resting in the dish.

Brown Onions – 40 calories per 100g

Brown Onions from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (40 calories per 100g).

Their bold, strong flavour makes brown onions a versatile, brilliant base ingredient for all kinds of different dishes. From pasties and pies, to curries, stews, and more, the possibilities are endless with onions in your kitchen.

Our Cheese and Onion Pasties are cheesy, oniony perfection…and here’s a little secret: we didn’t use real pastry to make them (you won’t even notice!).

One of Pinch of Nom's Cheese and Onion Pasties served in a bright blue plate, sliced in half with the filling of mashed potatoes, cheese and onion spilling out.

Extra Fine Green Beans – 31 calories per 100g

Extra Fine Green Beans from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (31 calories per 100g).

Whether you’re throwing them into stir-fries, tossing them in salads, or stirring them into curries, extra fine green beans are always a winner.

Ready in under 10 minutes, you can always rely on our Air Fryer Crispy Green Beans recipe to add a pop of garlicky green goodness to any plate. All for only 79 calories per serving!

Pinch of Nom's Air Fryer Crispy Green Beans are served on a large oval plate, on a vibrant blue tablecloth. The crispy green beans are piled high on the plate, coated in golden cheesy breadcrumbs.

Easy Peelers – 35 calories per 100g

Easy Peelers from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (35 calories per 100g).

Easy peelers are a dream to snack on;  sweet, juicy, and (as the name suggests!) so fuss-free to peel. They’re perfect for stashing in your lunchbox to take on the go for a slimming-friendly bite.

They’ll also add a vitamin C boost to your breakfast spread, no matter how you like your eggs! If fiery’s the way, try our lip-smacking Harissa Eggs next time you fancy toast.

Pinch of Nom's Harissa Eggs recipe is served for breakfast with a hot cup of coffee and a sunny-side up egg on top.

Crestwood Sausage & Onion Pie For One – 367 calories per pie

Crestwood Sausage & Onion Pie For One featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (367 calories per pie).

Next time you have a quiet night on your own, treat yourself to this Crestwood Sausage & Onion Pie For One that we’ve spotted in Aldi.

Deep-filled, with a shortcrust pastry case and an oat and linseed Cheddar crumb on top, we were pleasantly surprised to see it’s just 367 calories for the whole thing. The yummy-sounding filling is made with British pork sausages and a rich onion gravy, so all you need to add are peas and potatoes on the side

These Creamy Mashed Potatoes never let us down, especially since they’re a doddle to make. There’s no full-fat milk or double cream needed, which means you can add a scoop to your plate for 176 calories.

Pinch of Nom's Creamy Mashed Potatoes are served in an orange and white bowl with chopped-up chives and spring onions stirred through.

Crestwood Sausage & Onion Pie For One is available from Aldi, priced at £1.39.

Tesco Cheddar Pickled Onion & Chives – 113 calories per 30g

Tesco Cheddar Pickled Onion & Chives featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (113 calories per 30g).

In the run-up to Christmas the supermarkets are starting to fill their shelves with fancy festive cheeses! Nip into Tesco this week if you’re tempted to have a nibble on this Cheddar blended with Pickled Onion and Chives.

Instead of popping a pickle on the side, tangy pickled onions run through the creamy cheese, for lip-smacking flavour in every bite. Get it on a cracker, or melt it into a toastie for lunch!

If you prefer your onion sweet rather than tangy, our Caramelised Onion Cheese Toastie is the one for you. You’ll cook the red onion low and slow for 15 minutes with a splash of balsamic – trust us, it’s worth the wait.

Pinch of Nom's Caramelised Onion Cheese Toasties are served on a table set with extra red sauce for dipping.

Tesco Cheddar Pickled Onion & Chives is available from Tesco, priced at £2.75.

Strawberries and cream might be a summertime treat, but our Cream Tea Scones are just what you need to brighten up a dreary winter’s day. They only take 30 minutes to make, so start preheating the oven and grab the pot of jam from the cupboard!

Pinch of Nom's Cream Tea Scones are served on an oven tray; some are sliced in half and plated up with layers of jam, cream and freshly-sliced strawberry on top.

Arla Skyr Whipped Yogurt Strawberries & Cream is available from Sainsbury’s, priced at £1.25 (or 95p with a Nectar card).

Meatless Farm Chicken & Bacon Style Ravioli – 238 calories per 1/2 pack

Looking for new veggie lunch ideas? This Meatless Farm Chicken and Bacon Style Ravioli works out at just 238 calories for half the pack. The plant-based filling has a moreish meaty flavour, so even non-veggies will gobble it up.

Ready in just 4 minutes, you could enjoy it on its own, or mix in a tomatoey sauce – either homemade or shop-bought would do the job!

We’d stir through our Spanish-inspired Cheat’s Romesco. It takes less than 10 minutes to blitz the ingredients into a creamy pesto-like sauce, with really big, vibrant flavours. It’s so versatile and delicious!

Cheat's Romesco - Pinch of Nom Slimming Recipes

Meatless Farm Chicken & Bacon Style Ravioli is available from Tesco, priced at £3.25.

For nights when you don’t have time to prep from scratch, pick up this Ashfields Ready To Cook Spanish Inspired Chicken & Chorizo Traybake.

The diced chicken leg and slices of smoky chorizo are ready-coated in a red pepper and tomato marinade, with grilled peppers and red onion mixed in. Whack it straight into the oven for 40 minutes while you sort out an easy side dish.

You’ve got plenty of time to rustle up this Savoury Rice while the traybake is bubbling away. There’s bags of flavour and loads of veggies in every portion.

Savoury Rice - Pinch of Nom Slimming Recipes

Ashfields Ready To Cook Spanish Inspired Chicken & Chorizo Traybake is available from Aldi, priced at £3.99.

Prawns are perfect for slimming-friendly diets, since they’re so low in calories, but packed with protein. Half of this bag is just 105 calories, so you could even double-up the portion if you’re feeling really hungry.

The creamy, comforting flavour of our own Thai-Style Green Curry Soup is exactly what we want to curl up with after a long day. The broth is brimming with an aromatic blend of chilli, garlic and lemongrass, with chicken breast and rice noodles to fill you up.

A table is set with three bowls of Pinch of Nom's Thai-Style Green Curry Soup and some sliced limes. The green broth is packed full of chicken, noodles and vegetables, with sriracha sauce drizzled on top. Spoons are laid out nearby, ready to dig in.

Viennetta Salted Caramel Ice Cream Dessert – 125 calories per serving

Viennetta Salted Caramel Ice Cream Dessert featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (125 calories per serving).

Oh. My. Word!! Everyone’s favourite family dessert is now available in a brand-new flavour. We’ve spotted this Viennetta Salted Caramel Ice Cream Dessert in the freezers at all the big supermarkets, so you should be able to grab one the next time you’re out and about.

The classic 8 layers are all there, except this time it’s a medley of vanilla ice cream, salted caramel ice cream, crisp caramel layers and extra caramel pieces. At 125 calories per serving, this won’t last long in our house…

With crispy pastry and a sticky toffee sauce, these Banana and Caramel Filo Rolls are a caramel lover’s dream. They look pretty fancy when they’re plated up, so your guests will never guess how easy they are to make!

A table is set with four plates of Pinch of Nom's Banana and Caramel Filo Rolls. They're all ready-decorated with icing sugar and a caramel drizzle, but a spoon waits to add more on top from a small bowl set to the side.

NEW Aldi Super 6 Fruit and Veg Selection

The fruit and veg selection from Aldi's Super 6, alongside their prices, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping.

We love Aldi’s fortnightly selection of fresh fruit and veggies! They choose different items for a special offer where you can pick them up for much less than the normal price.

Here’s the rundown of this week’s extra-special Super 6 offering (where all of the items are specially priced at 69p!), along with some recipe ideas for you

Conference Pears – 64 calories per 100g

Conference Pears from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (64 calories per 100g).

When they’re nice and ripe, conference pears are juicy and soft with a gorgeous, syrupy sweetness, and they’re great for snacking on or cooking with.

Pears work really well in homely oven bakes like our slimming-friendly Pear and Ginger Crumble. Just the ticket to warm you up when it’s chilly outside, you can always ramp up the cosiness with a glug of Custard!

Four portions of Pinch of Nom's Pear and Ginger Crumble served in individual ramekin dishes on a yellow tabletop, with a jug of custard to the side waiting to pour over.

Persimmons – 127 calories per 100g

Persimmons from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (127 calories per 100g).

Sometimes called Sharon fruit, persimmons aren’t often in the Super 6…so grab some while you can!

When they’re nice and ripe, they have a lovely juicy texture and a sweet, honey flavour. There’s no need to peel them, you can bite right through the skin. They’re not a stone fruit either, so you can slice through them easily, and serve them on the side of your Apple Pie Porridge at breakfast time.

Pinch of Nom's Apple Pie Porridge served in three bowls on a yellow and white striped tabletop, with spoons waiting to dig in. Apple slices and flaked almonds are scattered on top.

Large Brown Onions – 40 calories per 100g

Brown Onions from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (40 calories per 100g).

With a handful of onions in the kitchen, you can make a start on so many different dishes. Brown onions have a strong flavour, which is why they make a great base ingredient for all kinds of cooking.

There’s no better pairing than cheese and onion, especially when they’re bundled together into our Cheese and Onion Pasties. Shhh..just don’t tell anyone we didn’t use real pastry to make them!

One of Pinch of Nom's Cheese and Onion Pasties served in a bright blue plate, sliced in half with the filling of mashed potatoes, cheese and onion spilling out.

Mango – 60 calories per 100g

Mango from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (60 calories per 100g).

Packed with magnesium and potassium, mangoes are famously good for digestion. While we wouldn’t recommend eating the skin, you can do if you want to absorb every last nutrient!

Rain or shine, we’re always in the mood for curry! The juicy chunks of sour mango pickle in our brand-new Chicken and Mango Pickle Curry keep things nice and fresh year-round. Try it tonight over a bed of fluffy rice!

Pinch of Nom's Chicken and Mango Pickle Curry is served in a large round dish with red handles. The curry takes up one half of the dish, and fluffy white basmati rice is on the other side.

Fine Green Beans – 31 calories per 100g

These fancy fine beans are just good old green beans at heart! One of the most versatile veggies around, you can add a handful on the side of your main meal whenever you need a boost of green goodness.

We love to cook them in the air fryer with a sprinkle of breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese – you end up with these gorgeous Air Fryer Green Beans.

Pinch of Nom's Air Fryer Crispy Green Beans are served on a large oval plate, on a vibrant blue tablecloth. The crispy green beans are piled high on the plate, coated in golden cheesy breadcrumbs.

Braeburn Apples – 51 calories per 100g

Braeburn Apples from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (51 calories per 100g).

You can’t beat the juicy-sweet crunch of an apple. Halfway between green and red, Braeburn apples are especially refreshing to snack on throughout the day. Slice them up or dive straight in – they’re so easy to work into your daily routine!

One finely-sliced Braeburn apple is all you’ll need to bake up a cosy batch of our Apple Pie Cookies. They’re so simple to prepare, the hardest part is stopping at just one or two…

Morrisons Reduced Fat Caesar Dressing – 24 calories per tablespoon (15ml)

Morrisons Reduced Fat Caesar Dressing featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (24 calories per 15ml tablespoon).

This Morrisons Reduced Fat Caesar Dressing is going down a storm at Nom HQ. We can’t get enough!

While Morrisons’ standard Caesar dressing comes in at 55 calories for a drizzle (with 5.4g of fat), the reduced-fat bottle takes your salad bowl to the next level for 24 calories (and just 2.1g of fat).

That’s a slimming win-win in our book, especially when you can’t taste the difference.

When you’re next in the mood for a quick, easy and indulgent lunch or dinner, pencil our Chicken Caesar Pasta into your meal plan.

It’s got all the garlicky goodness of a Caesar salad, crunchy croutons, chicken and bacon pieces included! We’ve used reduced-fat cream cheese to lower the calories without losing creaminess.

A table is set with two plates of Pinch hof Nom's Chicken Caesar Pasta. Both portions are topped with crispy-looking garlic croutons and swirled in plenty of creamy Caesar sauce.

Morrisons Reduced Fat Caesar Dressing is available from Morrisons, priced at £1.40 per bottle.

Heinz Beanz & Richmond Sausages – 158 calories per can

Heinz Beanz & Richmond Sausages featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (158 calories per can).

When you’re feeling peckish, having a tin of Heinz Beanz & Richmond Sausages in the cupboard never hurts. A new-and-improved recipe, the pairing of classic Heinz Beanz with a juicy helping of Richmond sausages could only be one thing…utterly delicious!

Try a scoop on a slice of toast, or a crispy jacket potato, for an easy-peasy bite to eat.

Speaking of beans, we asked our fab community for their favourite baked bean brands not too long ago. You can go here to have a look at their answers (don’t forget to follow us on Instagram to chip in with our next discussion!).

Beans aren’t just a match made in heaven with sausages, they’re spot on with cheese too. Don’t believe us? Pick up a pack of sandwich thins and try our Cheesy Baked Bean Bakes.

They taste so good, you’ll never need to buy the bakery version again!

Pinch of Nom's Cheesy Baked Bean Bakes are laid out on a bright blue serving board, golden brown and fresh from the oven. One of the bakes is open with the cheesy, baked bean filling spilling out, with a small pot of ketchup to the side.

Heinz Beanz & Richmond Sausages is available from Morrisons, priced at £1.40 per can.

Roosters Gastro Hoisin Chicken Tenders With Spring Onion – 164 calories per 1/4 pack

Roosters Gastro Hoisin Chicken Tenders With Spring Onion featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (164 calories per 1/4 pack).

These Roosters Gastro Hoisin Chicken Tenders With Spring Onion are like ordering from a takeaway, for a fraction of the cost and calories. Pour the pot of sweet, sticky and tangy hoisin glaze over the tenders, and let them bake until they’re crispy and succulent.

They cook from frozen in less than 15 minutes, whether you toss everything together in your oven or your air fryer. There’s even a sachet of ready-chopped spring onions for sprinkling on top in the box – thank you, Aldi!

We can’t talk about hoisin flavours without mentioning one of our favourite fakeaways: Hoisin Chicken. Higher calorie hoisin sauces are usually made with honey and sesame oil, but we’ve kept things lighter with a handful of lower-calorie alternatives.

Our top tip? This dish tastes even better with our Air Fryer Salt and Pepper Chips (turn to page 70-71 of Pinch of Nom: Air Fryer).

A table is set with two bowls of Pinch of Nom's Hoisin Chicken as part of a Chinese restaurant-inspired spread, with chopsticks and extra hoisin sauce for drizzling.

Roosters Gastro Hoisin Chicken Tenders With Spring Onion are available from Aldi, priced at £3.49.

Daim Limited Edition Strawberry Flavour – 153 calories per bar

Daim Limited Edition Strawberry Flavour featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (153 calories per bar).

We love that these Daim Limited Edition Strawberry Flavour bars have a juicy, fruity centre that’s spot on for summer snacking! You can’t beat the classic toffee middle, and yet there’s no denying that these little pink bars will brighten up your coffee break.

The berry-flavoured bars won’t be around for long so run (don’t walk!) to the shops, if you’re interested.

If it’s strawberry sweetness you’re looking for, our Strawberry Oat Muffins are bursting with it. It only takes half an hour to rustle up a batch that you can stash in your favourite tupperware for a few days.

Enjoy them as a fluffy, filling grab-and-go breakfast, or tuck into them with a cuppa in the afternoon – they’re irresistible either way!

Six of Pinch of Nom's Strawberry Oat Muffins are plated up with fresh strawberry slices to the side. Each one is topped with a juicy strawberry slice.

Daim Limited Edition Strawberry Flavour bars are available from Iceland, priced at £1.35 for a pack of 3.

Morrisons Raita – 8 calories per 15g portion

Morrisons Raita featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (8 calories per 15g portion).

We can’t imagine an Indian-style spread of tasty, spiced dishes without a creamy dollop of raita! Buying a quick, convenient jar like this one from Morrisons doesn’t break the bank, and it’s nice and light at just 8 calories per 15g spoonful.

When it’s been opened, it’ll keep nicely in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, ready to cool down curries, kebabs or any other fiery creations on your midweek menu.

Our Garlic Mushroom Biryani isn’t the same without a pot of raita nearby. While the biryani you’ll find at restaurants and takeaways is time-consuming to prepare, we’ve cut the process down by making all of the rice, meat and veggies together in one easy pot.

Turn to pages 72-73 of our fourth cookbook, Pinch of Nom: Comfort Food to add the ingredients to your shopping list. We promise, it’ll be a hit with the whole family!

A table is set with two large serving plates of Pinch of Nom's Garlic Mushroom Biryani, with lemon wedges to squeeze on top and a small pot of cooling raita.

Morrisons Raita is available from Morrisons, priced at £1.66 per jar.

The Gym Kitchen Chicken Tikka Bites – 91 calories per pot

The Gym Kitchen Chicken Tikka Bites featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (91 calories per pot).

Head to the ‘meal deal’ section at Tesco, and you’re likely to spot these brand-new The Gym Kitchen Chicken Tikka Bites. Peel back the lid and tuck into ready-cooked chicken chunks coated in a mildly spicy, Tikka-inspired flavouring.

Far more filling than a chocolate bar or a pack of crisps, there’s 8 grams of protein for only 91 calories in each pot. Not bad at all!

Did someone say ‘chicken tikka’? Our Chicken Tikka Samosas taste so much like the real deal, it’s hard to believe they’re slimming friendly. We’ve used time-saving sheets of filo pastry to keep things simpler.

Keep an eye on your samosas while they’re in the oven – you don’t want to miss them turning gloriously golden and crisp!

A tray serves a batch of Pinch of Nom's Chicken Tikka Samosas, with a dipping sauce to the side. One of the samosas is cut open to reveal the curry-style filling inside.

The Gym Kitchen Chicken Tikka Bites are available from Tesco, priced at £1.30 per pot.

Jacobs Crisp Bites Mature Cheddar & Caramelised Onion – 120 calories per 25g serving

Jacobs Crisp Bites Mature Cheddar & Caramelised Onion featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (120 calories per 25g serving).

There are lots of flavours of brand-new Jacobs Crisp Bites to choose from! We went for Mature Cheddar & Caramelised Onion, but you can also take home Sweet Chilli and Sour Cream, Red Leicester or Smoked Paprika flavours in nifty, recyclable boxes.

If you’re a savoury snacker, you’ll be in heaven with these shareable crackers. Top them with something delicious or dip them in your favourite chutney…whatever works for you!

If you agree that cheese and onion is the ultimate flavour combo, you need to try our Cheese and Onion Pasties. Instead of puff pastry and high-calorie oils, we got creative with low-calorie tortilla wraps and low-calorie cooking spray.

The thing about using wraps for our ‘pastry’ is that it’s so versatile! We’ve got lots of other versions you can try. Don’t forget to tell us your favourite in our Facebook group.

One of Pinch of Nom's Cheese and Onion Pasties served in a bright blue plate, sliced in half with the filling of mashed potatoes, cheese and onion spilling out.

Jacobs Crisp Bites Mature Cheddar & Caramelised Onion are available from Tesco, priced at £2.00 per pack.

Sainsbury’s Tiramisu Gelato Tub, Taste the Difference – 185 calories per serving

Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Tiramisu Gelato Tub featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (185 calories per serving).

We’re always happy when tiramisu is on the menu! You can freeze this Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Tiramisu Gelato Tub until you’re ready for a scrumptious, effortless, Italian-holiday-inspired treat.

Let it rest for 5-10 minutes at room temperature before you dig in; that way, the layers of Tiramisu flavour mascarpone gelato, Marsala wine, coffee sauce and cocoa will be softened enough to spoon into a bowl.

If you’re a fiend for all things coffee, prepare to be obsessed with our Coffee and Walnut Sponge Traybake. We’ve doubled up on caffeine by swirling instant granules into our sponge, and drizzling every square with coffee-infused icing.

The crunchy bits you see on top are crushed walnuts, and they make for the perfect finishing touch!

Pinch of Nom's Coffee and Walnut Sponge Traybake is sliced into 16 individual squares, ready to be shared onto 3 separate plates. Each slice is topped with a drizzle of coffee icing and a sprinkling of chopped walnuts.

Sainsbury’s Tiramisu Gelato Tub, Taste the Difference is available from Sainsbury’s, priced at £4.50 per tub.

This week it’s a special Super 7 for the Easter bank holiday, and everything is just 15p! Here’s the rundown of this week’s Super 7 offering, along with some recipe ideas for you.

White potatoes – 92 calories per 100g

White Potatoes from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (92 calories per 100g).

A staple ingredient for all kinds of recipes, you can always rustle something up for dinner when you have a bag of spuds in the house. These white potatoes will do the job nicely, whether you’re boiling them, baking them, turning them into chips or making mash.

Try something a bit different on your Sunday dinner and serve up our new Stilton Roast Potatoes recipe. The strong nuttiness of the cheese is perfect for adding a flavour-boosting twist!

Pinch of Nom's Stilton Roast Potatoes are fresh from the oven, on a silver baking tray. The potatoes are golden and crispy at the edges, covered with melted Stilton cheese, sliced spring onions and finely chopped parsley.

Large garlic – 5 calories per clove

Garlic from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (5 calories per clove).

Speaking of flavour-boosters, it’s rare that we make a meal that doesn’t use at least a little bit of garlic. Always worth having on hand, it’s one of the main ingredients in the base of so many different dishes.

If you really want to let it shine, make our Creamy Garlic Chicken for dinner this week. It’s one of our most popular recipes ever, and once you try it, you’ll understand why.

Pinch of Nom's Creamy Garlic Chicken is ready in a large pan with a bright red handle; it's already topped with a light dusting of paprika, but there is extra paprika in a small bowl to the side, waiting to to be sprinkled over.

Carrots – 41 calories per 100g

Carrots from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (41 calories per 100g).

Add a crunch to your meals with a few carrots thrown into the mix. From salads and stir-fries to a good old Sunday roast, there’s always space on your plate for a carrot or two. Grab a bag while they’re included in the Super 7, and turn them into these Carrots with Honey and Orange, to go with your Easter dinner

Sweet and sticky, they’re perfect for a special occasion, and light enough to enjoy any time of the year.

Pinch of Nom's Carrots with Honey and Orange recipe is served on a blue and white patterned plate. The carrots have been finely sliced and cooked in a sweet, sticky glaze. The honey and orange juice dressing is pooling below the carrots, and they're garnished with fresh green herbs.

Swede – 38 calories per 100g

Swede from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (38 calories per 100g).

As soon as we spot swede in the Super 6, we get the urge to make our Vegetable Coconut Curry. The tender chunks pair so well with the flavours of coconut, chilli and lime! A surprisingly versatile root veg that’s yummy in soups and stews, it’s also great as a side dish mashed-up with carrots, or with potatoes for a comforting gratin.

Two portions of Pinch of Nom's Vegetable Coconut Curry are served on a blue tabletop in a large white, striped bowl and on a pink plate. There's a fork to the side ready to dig in.

Brown onions – 40 calories per 100g

Brown Onions from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (40 calories per 100g).

Brown onions are the key ingredient behind countless kitchen classics. With a strong flavour, brown onions are especially yummy paired with cheese. For a quick, warming lunchtime bite, why not slice them up and bundle them into our Cheese and Onion Pasties?

There’s no pastry in sight here – just oven-baked, crispy, low-calorie tortilla wraps!

One of Pinch of Nom's Cheese and Onion Pasties served in a bright blue plate, sliced in half with the filling of mashed potatoes, cheese and onion spilling out.

White/Red cabbage – 31 calories per 100g

Cabbage from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (30 calories per 100g).

Cabbage is an underrated vegetable that’s more versatile than you might think! Aldi have included both red and white cabbages in the Super 7 this week, and either kind can be boiled or steamed to go with your Easter dinner.

Better yet, pick up a white one and shred it to make this Buffalo Coleslaw to enjoy on fakeaway night!

Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Buffalo Coleslaw is ready to eat, served on a large white serving platter. The platter sits on a table, covered with a stripy tablecloth. A yellow-handled fork is placed on top of the coleslaw, ready to scoop up the finely shredded vegetables.

Rosemary – 4 calories per sprig

Rosemary from Aldi's Super 6 selection, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with calories above (4 calories per sprig).

It’s not often we see herbs as part of the Super 6 (or Super 7!) offer! The perfect seasoning for Easter, this aromatic, fragrant herb brings out the best flavour when it’s paired with lamb.

M&S Vanilla High Protein Yoghurt – 154 calories per pot

Ocado's Vanilla High Protein Yogurt, featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the Calories above (154 calories per pot).

On those days where January’s really January-ing, it’s always a good idea to stock up on sweet snacks that’ll curb your cravings without taking you off track. M&S’ Vanilla High Protein Yoghurt keeps things silky smooth and satisfying, with 25 grams of filling protein in each pot.

You’ve probably had fruit and yoghurt before, but have you ever tasted the magic that happens in our Syrupy Cinnamon Figs with Greek Yoghurt recipe? This super-sweet dessert is sticky and lightly spiced thanks to cinnamon, maple syrup and oh-so-juicy sliced figs.

We’ve brought the calories down with low-fat Greek yoghurt, but there’s nothing to stop you adding a dollop of vanilla-flavoured yoghurt to your plate (just be sure to take note of additional calories, if you’re keeping track).

Pinch of Nom's Sliced Syrupy Cinnamon Figs with Greek Yoghurt are scattered across a white plate, drizzled with extra syrup.

M&S Vanilla High Protein Yogurt is available from M&S and Ocado, priced at £1.35 per pot.

Far better for you and your budget than a shop-bought microwaveable pud, you can find the full recipe on pages 184-185 of your copy of Pinch of Nom: Budget.

One of Pinch of Nom's Hot Chocolate Microwave Mug Cakes served on an ornate-style blue and white teacup on top of a blue saucer. The chocolate sponge is topped with pink and white marshmallows and a chocolate drizzle.

Psst! If you’d rather grab a non-spicy mix, pick up the Pimp My Salad Super Seed Sprinkles from the same range.
