The words '9 salt & pepper fakeaway ideas' are set against a bright orange speckled background, beneath the Pinch of Nom logo.

When you’re craving a salt and pepper takeaway, it’s easier than you might think to make a healthy alternative at home! From crispy chips to flavour-packed chicken, all 9 of these slimming-friendly salt and pepper fakeaway ideas will hit the spot.

With burgers, ribs and salads to scroll through, there’s something for every salt and pepper craving on this list. We’re talking about all the spice and crunch of your favourite dishes for far fewer calories than you’d expect.

Ready to fire up your wok or air fryer? Let’s tuck in!

This post contains affiliate links. Find out what this means.

Salt and Pepper Chicken

There’s no better recipe to kick off this list of salt and pepper fakeaways! Our version of Salt and Pepper Chicken brings all the famous flavours to the table, without lashings of oil or hidden nasties.

We’ve used a homemade spice blend and low-calorie cooking spray to keep things lighter. Remember, you can vary the spice as much as you like – just leave out some of the chilli if you prefer a milder dish.

A baking tray is filled with a freshly-baked batch of Pinch of Nom's Salt and Pepper Chicken fakeaway recipe.

Salt and Pepper Chicken Salad

Nothing has us looking forward to lunchtime as much as our Salt and Pepper Chicken Salad. Think about all the takeaway flavours you know and love, tossed into a fresh and crispy Asian-style salad bowl!

We like to use fresh and crispy shredded veggies, but there’s nothing to stop you swapping in your favourite greens (or adding some rice, if you fancy) – just be sure to adjust the calories if you’re keeping track.

Turn to pages 144-145 in your copy of Pinch of Nom: Express for the full recipe.

A table is set with Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Salt and Pepper Chicken Salad from the Express cookbook.

Salt and Pepper Chicken Nuggets

We honestly haven’t ordered Salt and Pepper Chicken Nuggets from a takeaway since we figured out how to make this healthier version! Toasting the sea salt in a dry pan is the key to achieving that authentic salt and pepper taste, so you don’t want to skip that step in the recipe.

Simply pop the breadcrumbed chicken chunks on a baking tray and your oven will turn them golden within 25-30 minutes.

We toss them together with colourful chopped green peppers, red peppers and chillies.

A street food style table is set with Pinch of Nom's Salt and Pepper Chicken Nuggets served on red and white striped paper, with dipping sauce to the side, and a wooden fork waiting to tuck in.

Salt and Pepper Chips

If you’ve always wondered how to make Salt and Pepper Chips at home (and make them healthier!), you’re in the right place. This is another one of those recipes that stopped us ordering from the Chinese takeaway as much!

It’s really easy to put the spice mix together with a short list of ingredients. Keep an eye out for Chinese 5-Spice next time you’re at the supermarket – it’s the key to getting the flavours right in salt and pepper fakeaways!

Will you crisp up your portion of chips in the oven or your air fryer?

A baking tray lined with greaseproof paper is filled with Pinch of Nom's Salt and Pepper Chips. The golden chips are mixed with finely diced red and green peppers and salt and pepper seasoning. A small pot of ketchup and a small pot of mayonnaise are served alongside the chips, and a hand holds one chip, dipping it into the ketchup.

Flava It! Air Fryer Salt and Pepper Chips

With just a sprinkle of our Flava It! Air Fryer Salt & Pepper seasoning, you can recreate fiery, Chinese-inspired deliciousness in no time.

Leave your air fryer to work its magic, and you’ll be tucking into golden, crunchy Salt and Pepper Chips that’ll give your local takeaway a run for its money.

That’s all the flavour you know and love, lower in fuss than ever!

Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Flava It! Salt and Pepper Chips are served in an air fryer basket, with a pink recipe mix sachet to one side.

Find out more about our Flava It! Fakeaway-Favourites Collection by tapping here (as well as salt and pepper seasoning, you’ll find sachets for Burger & Kebab, Chip Shop Curry Sauce and Crispy Southern Chicken inside).

Salt and Pepper Pork

A tasty break from chicken, this beautifully simple pork is one of our favourite salt and pepper fakeaways to serve over a bowl of rice and pak choi.

Once you’ve toasted your salt flakes and combined them with the rest of the spice mix ingredients, you’ll coat the pork evenly and leave it to marinate. The longer you leave it, the tastier it’ll be – we usually leave ours overnight!

Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Salt and Pepper Pork is plated up at the centre of a table with chopsticks ready to tuck in, and a separate side portion of rice and pak choi.

Salt and Pepper Ribs

There’s no rushing these mouthwatering Salt and Pepper Ribs, but the good news is they’re well worth the wait! Once they’re coated with a medley of store cupboard staples and diet coke (yes, really – diet coke!), you’ll leave them to oven-bake until tender and succulent.

Hours later, they’re pan-fried on a bed of vibrant veggies with dried chilli flakes and toasted sea salt before serving. One word: heavenly!

A white marble table is set with a large yellow plate of Pinch of Nom's Salt and Pepper Ribs. The ribs look juicy and golden, served with chopped peppers and onions, and garnished with a slice of fresh lime. Two smaller plates are also on the table, and a portion of ribs has been served onto each one.

Air Fryer Salt and Pepper Chicken Burgers

If you’re as obsessed with salt and pepper flavours as we are, you need to give these Air Fryer Salt and Pepper Chicken Burgers a try. Why choose between a Chinese-inspired dinner and a burger when you can have both?

Pile them high for 343 calories per portion – homemade Asian-style slaw included!

Don’t worry if you don’t have an air fryer at home, you can crisp up your Salt and Pepper Chicken Burgers in the oven too!

A dinner plate is resting on a chopping board, where two Salt and Pepper Chicken Burgers are being assembled. On toasted burger buns, panko breadcrumb coated chicken fillets are topped with green and red peppers, on a bed of Asian-style slaw.

Salt and Pepper Tofu

There’s no need to miss out on the salt and pepper fakeaway fun if you’re following a plant-based diet! Our Salt and Pepper Tofu is so flavourful and satisfying, you’d never miss the meat.

Our top tip? Drain and press your tofu between absorbent kitchen towels for at least 40 minutes. It’s worth the wait for that perfect springy texture!

A table is set with a plate of Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Salt and Pepper Tofu and a side bowl of fakeaway fried rice.

Here’s a rundown of the recipes we’d make with this week’s Super 6 offering.

Plums – 46 calories per 100g

Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Sticky Plum and Chicken Traybake is served fresh from the oven looking golden and crisp.

Seasonal Pears – 55 calories per 100g

Plant Menu Peppered No Salami Slices – 64 calories per 7 slices

Plant Menu Peppered No Salami Slices featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (64 calories per 7 slices).

January might be over, but that doesn’t mean we’re cancelling Meat-free Mondays! These Plant Menu Peppered No Salami Slices make for a really easy, delicious swap wherever you’d normally enjoy a slice of meat.

Think plant-based sarnies, pasta dishes, salads or soups – there are lots of places where salami’s signature peppery flavours are welcome.

You could use it as a plant-based topping for our Cheesy Chilli Pizza. We promise, even the fussiest eaters at the table won’t know the difference!

They’ll be too busy enjoying the gooey goodness we’ve loaded onto our home-baked naan base. With no shortage of Gouda cheese, and a generous helping of sweet chilli drizzle, this one always goes down a storm on family pizza night.

Pinch of Nom's Cheesy Chilli Pizza plated up on a light blue serving board on top of a red gingham table cloth; slices have already been cut by a pink pizza cutter, and there's extra sweet chilli dip on the side.

Plant Menu Peppered No Salami Slices are available from Aldi, priced at £4.75 per pack.

M&S Purple Crunch Stir-Fry – 37 calories per 1/2 pack (approx.)

M&S Purple Crunch Stir Fry featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above 37 calories per 1/2 pack (approx.).

Throw this M&S Purple Crunch Stir-Fry into your wok, and you can have a colourful, nutritious, satisfying meal on the table in minutes. A medley of purple broccoli, cabbage, chopped chillies, ginger and garlic, it’s just the ticket with your go-to protein and noodles.

Don’t forget about adding a tasty sauce! We use a handful of store cupboard staples to make the aromatic sauce for our Broccoli and Mushroom Stir-fry recipe.

Fiery sriracha, sticky honey, oyster sauce and soy sauce provide the perfect balance of sweet yet spicy flavours. Water chestnuts are a less common ingredient, but they’re really easy to find at most supermarkets and well worth adding in.

They’ll boost the savoury flavours in your dish and give everything an irresistible crunch.

A table is set with a serving of Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Broccoli and Mushroom Stir Fry plated up at a bamboo place setting with chopsticks waiting to tuck in.

M&S Purple Crunch Stir-Fry packs are available from Ocado and M&S, priced at £2.75.

Manomasa Jalapeno Barbecue Popped Corn Chips – 79 calories per serving

Manomasa Jalapeno Barbecue Popped Corn Chips featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (79 calories per serving).

Sometimes, you just need to grab something quick, easy and full of flavour to munch on instantly! That’s exactly what you get with a bag of Manomasa Jalapeno Barbecue Popped Corn Chips on standby.

Popped rather than deep-fried, they come in lighter than deep-fried potato-based alternatives, at 79 calories per portion.

Instead, you’ll be nibbling on a blend of corn, potato, chickpea, red quinoa and black bean – all tossed in a smoky jalapeńo coating.

You’ll find similar chipotle-inspired flavours packed into our Chilli Bean Lasagne. There’s not a single ounce of mince in our layers; we’ve made an alternative vegetarian ‘chilli mix’ using a blend of mixed beans and vegetables!

Pinch of Nom's Chilli Bean Lasagne is served fresh from the oven in a large casserole dish. The cheesy top is melty and golden brown, with jalapeños poking through. A single portion of lasagne waits on a plate to the side for someone to tuck in.

Manomasa Jalapeno Barbecue Popped Corn Chips are available from Waitrose, priced at £2.20 per pack.

Nordpak Plant-Based Vegan Spread With Buttery Taste – 65 calories per 10g spread

Nordpak Plant Based Vegan Spread With Buttery Taste featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (65 calories per 10g spread).

After seeing lots of buzz online about this Nordpak Plant-Based Vegan Spread With Buttery Taste from Aldi, we had to give it a try! True to the reviews, it spreads like a dream and has the creaminess you’d expect from a classic tub, without any dairy on the ingredients list.

We think the best places to test it are in a sandwich, on a slice of toast or melted on top of a jacket spud.

You can spread some over a wholemeal bread roll while you stack up our Breakfast Sliders. They’re piled high with cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon and sausage – basically, everyone’s favourite bits from an English cooked breakfast!

Will you squeeze red or brown sauce on yours?

Three Breakfast Sliders are lined up along a blue serving board, with a bottle of ketchup in the background. Each slider is made up of a wholemeal bread roll, filled with cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon and sausage.

Nordpak Plant-Based Vegan Spread With Buttery Taste is available from Aldi, priced at £1.99 per pack.

We can’t visit Sainsbury’s at the minute without leaving with something yummy from their Taste the Difference range. With these crispy-coated Mushroom Goujons, the ‘Hot Honey’ caught our eye straight away.

While we pop them straight in our air fryer to brown and then drizzle with the moreish dressing, there’s nothing to stop you baking them to perfection in your oven if you’d prefer.

If you like the sound of a crunchy mushroom-based side dish, our Cheesy Mushroom Bake is the recipe to try next.

It’s ready in well under half an hour with a short list of simple ingredients, and you can keep it frozen ready to fill a hole on your midweek plate at a moment’s notice. Bear this one in mind for mixing up your usual go-to side veggies!

An oven dish is filled with a freshly-made batch of Pinch of Nom's Cheesy Mushroom Bake, topped with a crispy-looking golden breadcrumb topping.

Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Mushroom Goujons with Hot Honey is available from Sainsbury’s, priced at £3.50 per pack (or £3.00 with a Nectar card).

Iceland Crispy Potato Slices – 116 calories per 100g serving

Iceland Crispy Potato Slices featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (116 calories per 100g serving).

There are a few different ways to cook and serve these Iceland Crispy Potato Slices. From frozen, you can either air-fry, deep-fry, pan-fry or ovenbake them.

As you’ve probably guessed, when we pull this bag of time-saving spuds from the freezer, we’re on Team Air Fryer! They’re a cracking, golden ready-to-go topper for pies or casseroles.

You could crisp them up to scatter evenly over our warming Chicken and Vegetable Hotpot. Underneath the fluffy topping, you’ll find tender chicken and veggies cooked in a creamy, thyme-infused sauce.

We’ve added carrots, peas and sweetcorn to keep this one family-friendly, but the recipe works just as well with mushrooms, peppers or some frozen mixed vegetables.

Pinch of Nom's Chicken and Vegetable Hotpot served in a large ovenproof dish with a piece removed where the creamy chicken hotpot is peaking out from underneath the potato topping. A portion lies on a side plate with a spoon waiting to tuck in.

Iceland Crispy Potato Slices are available from Iceland, priced at £1.00 per bag.

Weetabix Crispy Minis Caramelised Biscuit – 152 calories per 40g serving

Weetabix Crispy Minis Caramelised Biscuit featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (152 calories per 40g serving).

Your cereal cupboard just got an exciting new addition! Say hello to Weetabix Crispy Minis in Caramelised Biscuit flavour.

Simply add to a bowl, add milk and enjoy the Biscoff-like spiced caramel goodness crammed into these wholegrain minis. We’re not kidding when we tell you, the whole family is going to fall in love instantly (if they’re huge fans of Biscoff like we are!).

We like to tuck into these mini biccies with banana slices stirred in – as our Air Fryer Biscoff Banana Bites recipe proves, caramelised biscuit flavours are a match made in heaven with everyone’s favourite snacktime fruit.

To ramp up the indulgence, they’re coated in a cinnamon and nutmeg-infused layer of panko breadcrumbs. Turn to pages 176-177 of our Air Fryer cookbook to make a batch later.

A plate is filled with Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Air Fryer Biscoff Banana Bites from the Air Fryer cookbook.

Tesco High Protein Chilli Chicken – 312 calories per pack

Tesco High Protein Chilli Chicken featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (312 calories per pack).

The word ‘protein’ seems to be everywhere at the minute! This Tesco High Protein Chilli Chicken really does have a fair amount packed in, with 22 grams in a ready-to-heat serving.

It’s a chow mein inspired combination of noodles, shredded chicken, red pepper, choi sum (Chinese cabbage) and julienne carrots, tossed in a mildly fiery chilli sauce.

Quick and convenient, it’s an easy way to get 2 of your 5-a-day when you don’t feel like cooking something from scratch – and it’s better for your budget than a takeaway version!

If you’re part of our Facebook group, you’ve probably seen lots of photos of our Chilli Chicken Masala this week. Our community has been cooking it nonstop from their copies of our latest cookbook, All in One.

We are so jealous of how incredible Kerry T’s bowl looks…thank you for sharing your photo in our website Gallery, Kerry!

Ambrosia Apple and Cinnamon Flavour Deluxe Rice – 132 calories per pot

Ambrosia Apple & Cinnamon Flavour Deluxe Rice featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (132 calories per pot).

Imagine the rice pudding pots you and love, with a luxurious twist! You might have already spotted Ambrosia’s Deluxe Rice pots in Madagascan Vanilla or Salted Caramel – we tried those for the first time back in 2023.

Now, you can try two brand-new warming flavours as part of the thicker, creamier range: Caramelised Biscuit or Apple and Cinnamon flavour pots.

Don’t know about you, but we’ll be looking out for both while we’re shopping this weekend!

For our own Chai Rice Pudding recipe, we use unsweetened almond milk to keep things silky and rich without ramping up the calories.

With chai tea flavours stirred through, you’re basically tucking into two warming treats in one gorgeous bowl. Whatever you do, don’t forget to top it all off with a sprinkling of cinnamon!

Two bowls of Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Chai Rice Pudding are served on a tray, topped with berries and a sprinkling of cinnamon, with two spoons waiting to tuck in.

Ambrosia Apple and Cinnamon Flavour Deluxe Rice pots are available from Asda, priced at £1.60 for a pack of 2.

Specially Selected Gastro Vanilla & Mixed Berry Crumb Topped Cheesecakes featured in Pinch of Nom's Weekly Pinch of Shopping with the calorie count printed above (212 calories per cheesecake pot).

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, we’ve noticed lots of romantic-looking treats appearing on the supermarket shelves. These Specially Selected Gastro Vanilla and Mixed Berry Crumb Topped Cheesecakes are no exception from Aldi – they look and taste really fancy, and yet you can take home a pair for £2.99.

Since we’re talking about a velvety vanilla centre bursting with tart berries, and a decadent biscuit crumb topping, it’d be rude not to really…

Looking to impress? We can promise, our Millionaire’s Cheesecake recipe is the key to their heart. We’ve used reduced-fat swaps to keep the calories low without spoiling any of the fun.

Just make sure you don’t compromise on the unsalted butter – it’s the key to making your shortbread buttery and crispy.

A blue tray is filled with a freshly made batch of Pinch of Nom's Millionaire's Cheesecake; one slice is being served on a side plate, and already has a bite taken out of it.

The words 'What Else Can I Make With the Pinch of Nom x Flava It! Sachets' stand out in yellow against a bright pink sachet, above the Pinch of Nom logo. The background is covered with lots of different Flava It! sachets from the Pinch of Nom range.

Our smash-hit Pinch of Nom x Flava It! Recipe Mixes are perfect for recreating the recipes featured on the packaging, and so much more! We’re here to talk you through some of our favourite, unexpected ways to use our fuss-free sachets.

What are the Pinch of Nom x Flava It! Recipe Mixes?

The Pinch of Nom x Flava It! recipe mixes are split into two collections, or some of them are available to buy as individual sachets. The collection multipacks are currently available to buy online from Amazon and Morrisons’ website, or you can purchase them in Morrisons stores.

You can choose between our Fan-Favourites Collection, or our Fakeaway Favourites Collection, or pick up both! Most of the mixes have enough inside to comfortably serve 4, apart from our Flava It! Air Fryer Crispy Southern Chicken (which serves 2).

Tap the image below to visit our Flava It! Amazon page.

Both collections are sold in Morrisons stores for £3.00 per pack – that’s 75p per sachet! You can order them through the website by tapping the image below.

The words 'Available in Morrisons' are presented in yellow and green above an array of recipe mixes from the Fan-Favourites Collection Box and Fakeaway-Favourites Collection Box.

You can also find three of the sachets from our Fan-Favourites Collection in the herbs and spices aisle at Tesco. They’re sold individually at £1.00 each (or 75p with a Clubcard, when they’re in the deals!).

You can also add them to the basket while you’re online shopping.

The Tesco logo is spelled out in the spilled contents from 3 of Pinch of Nom's Flava It! Recipe Mixes (Creamy Garlic Chicken, Mediterranean-Style Traybake and Campfire Stew) on a plain, grey countertop.

Flava It! Creamy Garlic Chicken Recipe Mix

Rustling up the most popular Pinch of Nom recipe ever has never been more fuss-free, thanks to our Flava It! Creamy Garlic Chicken Recipe Mix. A dish that’ll never get boring no matter how many times you repeat it, if you did want to mix things up a bit, a sprinkling from our sachet will keep that nice and simple too.

A plate of Creamy Garlic Chicken made with the Flava It! X Pinch of Nom recipe mix is served on a table set for dinner.

A leafy green side dish like our Creamy Garlic Sprouts is a great place to start spreading the garlicky goodness further.

Simply add chopped sprouts to an oven dish and toss to coat in our recipe mix. You’ll follow Step 4 as usual, stirring the sprouts together with tangy Parmesan and silky reduced-fat cream cheese.

A plate is filled with Pinch of Nom's Creamy Garlic Sprouts waiting to be dished out with two spoons.

Fancy serving slimming-friendly seafood on your midweek meal plan? Our Creamy Garlic Prawns recipe is really easy to whip up with our sachet too.

You can remove the garlic cloves, Henderson’s relish, white wine vinegar, Dijon mustard and stock from your ingredients list, making the Flava It! version more convenient to prep in an instant.

Combine the packet mix with boiling water and simmer until reduced by half with the onions and mushrooms. When the pan is off the heat, stir in the reduced-fat cream cheese to create your creamy sauce.

Pinch of Nom's Creamy Garlic Prawns are served in a skillet while a large serving spoon scoops up a creamy portion.

Flava It! Mediterranean-Style Chicken Traybake Recipe Mix

If you’ve already made our Flava It! Mediterranean-Style Chicken Traybake, you’ll know it’s bursting with fresh, vibrant flavours.

This really versatile mix is perfect for all kinds of traybakes and roasts, as well as even more hearty orzo dishes, like our Vegetable Stew with Orzo.

When you’re grabbing your ingredients, you can skip the vegetable stock cube and dried oregano. Instead, you’ll dissolve our recipe mix in the boiling water that fluffs up your orzo (roughly 1½ litre).

Then, give everything a good stir in your Instant Pot. You’ll be left with a gorgeous, flavourful stew!

Pinch of Nom's Vegetable Stew with Orzo is served in a round green casserole dish. The dish is set on a green and white chequered place mat, and a large serving spoon rests in the stew, ready to serve.

You can even use our sachet for a holiday-inspired oven bake like our Mediterranean-Style Stuffed Peppers recipe.

Rather than a beef stock, you’ll bubble the bulgur wheat filling together with our recipe mix and water, until all of the flavours are thoroughly soaked up.

Plate the peppers up with a zesty side salad and you’ve got sunshine on a plate.

Four of Pinch of Nom's Mediterranean Style Stuffed Peppers are plated up with the tops cut off and the filling of feta cheese, beef, bulgur wheat and veggies bursting onto the plate.

Flava It! Campfire Stew Recipe Mix

Rich, smoky and low effort, it’s no wonder our Flava It! Campfire Stew Recipe Mix is flying off the shelves at Tesco. If you’re looking to make something just as wholesome with a twist, turn to pages 68-71 of our newest cookbook, All in One.

Our Ham and Bean Casserole can either be super speedy (ready in 30 minutes from a pressure cooker) or prepped in a slow cooker (for 6-7 hours).

When you’ve pan-fried your veggies and they’re ready to go in the pot, you’ll also add our sachet with 500ml of water.

What’s not to love about our showstopping Pulled Pork Lasagne? While you can use pork if you want to, we found that gammon worked best to get the shredded pork-like filling for a fraction of the calories.

The saltiness of gammon is also the perfect pairing for our smoky, Flava It! Campfire Stew Recipe Mix.

Use a few tablespoons to rub the gammon joint with even more succulent flavour. You’ll coat the meat during Step 2, right before it’s added to a pan to be browned on all sides (skip the BBQ seasoning and pepper).

Pinch of Nom's Pulled Pork Lasagne is in the middle of the table, served in a large rectangular oven dish. A corner has been served onto a small plate nearby, and a side salad is waiting on a separate plate. The lasagne is golden brown and cheesy, with a BBQ pork filling.

Flava It! Cajun-Style Dirty Rice Recipe Mix

With a sprinkling of our Cajun-Style seasoning, you’ve got the makings for the easiest fakeaway-night feast ever. It’s inspired by the flavours of a golden oldie from pages 120-121 of our first-ever cookbook, Cajun-Style Dirty Rice.

Flava It! X Pinch of Nom's Cajun-Style Dirty Rice is served on a white plate with a bright green rim. The plate is set on a green place mat, next to a sachet of the recipe mix and water in a bright yellow glass.

You can always use a tablespoon of recipe mix to help prepare the smoky coating for our Cajun-Style Chicken Thighs. Leave them in the fridge for a minimum of 24 hours, mingling with the aromatic mix, fat-free Greek yoghurt and tomato purée.

After half an hour in the oven, they’ll be juicy, bursting with Cajun-style goodness and ready to drizzle with a squeeze of lemon.

A close-up shows Pinch of Nom's Cajun-Style Chicken Thighs served with rice and vegetables. The chicken looks tender and juicy, with charred spices on the outside.

There’s no reason you can’t use our recipe mixes to brighten up lunchtimes. Our Slow Cooker Chunky Tomato Cajun-Style Soup is brimming with nutritious veggies and beans that’ll keep you feeling fuller for longer.

Swap the stock, Cajun-style seasoning, Henderson’s relish and white wine vinegar for our recipe mix, and you’ll add just as much sizzle and spice to your slow cooker.

A table is set with two hearty bowls of Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Slow Cooker Chunky Tomato Cajun-Style Soup in bright yellow bowls, a crusty wholemeal bread roll waits to one side for mopping up every last drop.

Flava It! Chip Shop Curry Sauce Recipe Mix

You can’t beat our Flava It! Chip Shop Curry Sauce drizzled over a golden portion of chips on fakeaway night. In a few simple steps, the mix is stirred into a mild, smooth sauce for pouring or dipping – far quicker than nipping to the chippy!

There’s no reason you can’t use our mix for other chip shop inspired creations, like our Chinese-Style Chicken Curry. For this one, you’d normally pick up a Mayflower Curry mix for the sauce, but you can use ours instead.

Sprinkle the contents of the sachet into a saucepan of water and stir well until it’s smooth. Set it aside until you’re ready to add it to the slow cooker with the rest of the chopped veggies.

Just make sure you don’t sprinkle a stock cube in too – there’s no need to double up on savoury flavours here!

Flava It! Crispy Southern Chicken Seasoning Mix

It’s no secret that the mouthwatering blend of herbs and spices in our Flava It! Crispy Southern Seasoning Mix tastes just like it came from a restaurant. We’re so happy that so many of you are loving it in our Facebook group – please keep your recipe photos coming!

Pinch of Nom's Flava It! Crispy Southern Chicken is served in a burger bun, with salad. One burger is placed on a napkin, resting on a yellow chopping board. The other burger is in a red and white striped takeaway-style cardboard box in the background.

With our sachet handy, you can make our popular KFC Rice Box even if your spice rack isn’t stocked up. Our mix replaces the onion granules, garlic granules, paprika, chilli powder, dried thyme, and dried oregano, as well as the veggie stock cube and panko breadcrumbs.

For Step 3, dip the chicken into the beaten egg so that it’s evenly covered and nice and sticky for our seasoning mix to cling to.

Our top tip? Have portions of our Savoury Rice stashed in the freezer, ready to serve the full restaurant-inspired meal in a flash.

You can really have some fun with this Southern-style seasoning mix! It’ll work as a crispy coating for a number of dishes, including vegetarian wonders like our Air Fryer Cauliflower Katsu.

Take your florets for a dip in egg and seasoning before they’re air-fried to crispy perfection. Just make sure not to overcrowd your air fryer basket – you might need to cook in two batches for the best results.

Two plates of Pinch of Nom's Caulifower Katsu sit on a kitchen counter, next to forks and glasses of ice water. The katsu curry has been served with a portion of fluffy rice and ribbons of crunchy carrot.

Flava It! Burger and Kebab Seasoning Mix

When you’ve got a hankering for fast food, this is the sachet to buy! Use it to season homemade burger patties, or it can be sprinkled on your choice of kebab – chicken, lamb or beef all work a treat.

A sprinkling gives the mince in our Cheeseburger Nachos a delicious, speedy, burger-inspired makeover. Rather than combining the beef with a handful of herbs and spices, our mix does the trick.

Pan-fry the mince as normal until it’s browned and ready to load onto tortilla chips with gherkins and melty cheese.

Pinch of Nom's Cheeseburger Nachos are served fresh from the oven with a topping of beef mince, lettuce, onion, gooey cheese and burger sauce.

It can also add some seriously tasty grill-style magic to the mega patty inside of our Baked Cheeseburger Wrap

You’ll get your hands dirty combining the beef mince and red onion with our seasoning sachet. When everything’s nicely infused, the mix gets flattened into a showstopping supersized burger.

Don’t forget to drizzle with our homemade burger sauce before serving!

Flava It! Salt and Pepper Chips Seasoning Mix

We can’t talk about fakeaway flavours without mentioning Salt and Pepper Chips. You only need potatoes, peppers, spring onion and our packet mix to air-fry a bowlful that tastes just like it’s from a restaurant.

While you usually need to toast sea salt in a pan to achieve the signature salt and pepper flavour, that’s not the case wherever you use our time-saving sachet.

Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Flava It! Salt and Pepper Chips are served in an air fryer basket, with a pink recipe mix sachet to one side.

We use a home-mixed blend of herbs and spices to coat our Salt and Pepper Pork, but there’s nothing to stop you marinating pork strips in our ready-mix instead.

Pinch of Nom's slimming-friendly Salt and Pepper Pork is plated up at the centre of a table with chopsticks ready to tuck in, and a separate side portion of rice and pak choi.

You can also swap in our sachet for the spices, sweetener and salt we’d normally use to coat our Salt and Pepper Chicken Nuggets. Once you’ve coated your nuggets in breadcrumbs and spread them out on a baking tray, sprinkle them on all sides with our seasoning mix.

Serve topped with colourful sliced peppers and onions once they’re baked until crisp.

A street food style table is set with Pinch of Nom's Salt and Pepper Chicken Nuggets served on red and white striped paper, with dipping sauce to the side, and a wooden fork waiting to tuck in.
