Perfect smokiness for the spice mix used in this recipe. So if you don’t have gammon but frankfurters you can definitely swap these two ingredients.

Pour the pasta shapes in the slow cooker and cook for a further 20 minutes. If there’s too much stock, open the lid and let it reduce. Works very well in the slow cooker.
