When I double the recipe to 8 it doubles the beef stock cubes but it still remains at 300ml of water is this correct?

I whisk the egg in a bowl, scrunch the pastry up and then dip it into the egg before placing on the pie. It is easier than brushing the pastry and I achieve a more even spread with less mess.

A really nice pie not to heavy but was really filling
