Instead of brushing the sauce on I put the chicken in it and marinated for a time

Added the juice of a lime and a teaspoon of hot sauce to the marinade, and marinated the drumsticks all day before airfrying on 200 for 20 minutes and 180 for 10 minutes. Delicious
