Cocktail sticks in a carrot were really hard to pull out. I didn’t think of using greens to fill in the spaces, either, but my effort was a real success and some even took pictures of it. It is surprising how many diabetics there are in any gathering and many of the children prefer fresh fruit than a traditional trifle.
